Embedded Facebook Feed

I would very much like to embed a Facebook feed into the member pages. Facebook makes the code to do this readily available for personal websites/blogs and Elvanto already supports embedding YouTube videos. Seems to me like most of the heavy coding is already done. If this were to happen one could take their already established Facebook group called... I dunno.. Worship Team, and embed the news feed into the members area or even below the service plan. Combining the already established communication network of Facebook, with its notifications and messenger with the scheduling and song databases that we all use in Elvanto.

Im not a programmer so this might be useless!

Hi Aaron,

You can set up a Facebook sidebar to go within the member area by going Settings -> Sidebar -> 'Add New Sidebar'. Unfortunately we're a little limited with what we can do with connecting the notifications and messaging systems, though!

Hope this helps you,

Hannah

Thats pretty cool. Is there a support article on how to use sidebar customization? I can't seem to find one.

Thanks

Aaron

Hi Aaron,

Just select the 'facebook sidebar'. Once you press save, it will just ask for the URL and work everything automatically :)

Hope this helps,

Hannah
