Volunteers can't see their rosters

I'm new to rostering and it's not working as I expect. I've set up a service and assigned volunteers, and they are getting notifications. But when they log in they say they can't see their roster. Do i have to change some setting to make it public? It is permissions for the volunteers themselves?

The only setting that needs to be set is to make sure that the volunteers have the correct access permissions to see the roster.
