Default Roster Assignments in Service Types

Is there any way to look into adding the ability to automatically schedule certain people when creating a Service of a specific type?

For instance, when I create a new service and use our boilerplate "Sunday Morning" type, it'd be great if the people who rarely change are automatically added (i.e. Worship Leader, Drummer, etc...)

Or maybe there's another way to accomplish this?

So just realized I could use Teams as a workaround for the time being. :)

Teams is definitely one way of doing it. Alternatively, if only the single person is assigned to that position and service type at the location of the service, when you go to add a volunteer, it will always bring their profile up.
