Hi - in South Australia it is a requirement that all volunteers have a police clearance. Is there any way I can add a police clearance custom field into the volunteer section, that unless that particular police clearance field is checked, they won't be able to be added as a volunteer? Or is this simply a matter of creating the custom field and having a policy in place outlining police clearances etc?

At this stage you can't prevent people being rostered on based on to certain positions based on their access permissions. Good policies and training for your staff and volunteers is useful here and it might be worth creating reports to find anyone that doesn't have the correct information in their profile so that you can follow them up.
